The terrine was formed along the lines of an ancient kantharos. It has an oval stepped foot,
an urn-shaped vessel body with one in the middle steeply rising lid and a leaf rosette on top.
The knob in the form of an artichoke. An embossed frieze of acanthusspirals – with a rosette center – runs along the edge. Angular broken cantharos-like handle.
