Engraved around the rim with a dedication: “Neu-Jahrs-Geschencke der Posamentier-Geselln J.F. Wiesemeyer v. Berlin Altgesell u. C.G. Weis v. Breslau als Companion 1748.”. The base engraved with the name of the recipient: “Johana Elisabeth Briesnern”.
