Just below the distinct lip edge, each is engraved with the motto ‘DRINK ME OUT AND LAY ME DOWN, IF I STAND UP SO FILL ME AGAIN.’ Height each 4.5cm, Ø 7cm. Maker’s mark Gottfried Storp II (active 1725).
