Strasbourg cutlery set
Silver, gold-plated. Consisting of six coffee spoons and two sugar sprinkle spoons. Spoons with egg-shaped spoons; the sprinkle spoons with openwork decoration. The handles in the shape of a spade with shell relief on both sides; for the sprinkle spoons with Crest engraved on the underside. Added is a suitably crafted cream spoon with the same crest and English stamps.
The coffee spoons in gold-embossed leather cases with signs of age; the rest in a ready-made wooden box lined with red velvet. Stamps: The coffee spoons and the sprinkle spoons with BZ Strasbourg for 1750 – 1789, the crumble spoons with year letter x for 1773, MZ Johann Friderich Fritz (1752 – 1780, Bastian/Kugel No. 470). The cream spoon with BZ London for 1805, MZ William Eley I and William Fearn (from 1797, Grimwade No. 3112). L of the coffee spoon 15 cm, weight of 203 g.
